Earlie, give me a break, not that old, they did the "Mark to Market" thingie (for shorts) in 82 or there about (the big "tax cut for the rich they called, or trickle down?), at the same time they seeded the Savings and Loans catastrophe by changing the "at risk" rules in real estate write offs.

I hope you covered your shorts on RMBS, there is another possible swoon down under $300, IMHO, but then the next major down spill may not come until the whole over valuation scenario dies, and that is many moons away still, RMBS may still get above $400 before that and if somehow it manages to go above about $430, it could make a run landing it well above $500 (actually I have a count of $650 pre split, or north of $150 post split), that will indeed be overvalued (G).
