I wonder how much this changes the chemistry for those share holders who bought it for security as a major water and gas player internationally as well as a electric utility?

What was once a conservative platform is now thrust itself into the future "New Age"..., <<smile>> and all the volatility that goes with the territory? On the other hand, it's kind of like the establishing the next 'General Electric'.....!

Very Interesting, this stock may well be worth buying in small increments and holding for the next 20 years like GE has been for the last 20.

I owned some Montana Power, that has been doing the same type of switch over.... out of electric utility into fiber-optic. It's stock doubled quickly last year, but is more volatile as a result of the new emphasis.
