Bill/William/Mike:

This treasury buyback would be kind of funny if it werent so odd. It seems liken to someone who pays off his fixed rate mortgage debt on his house while increasing his draw on higher interest rate credit cards.
Obviously, most consumers wouldnt entertain such a ludicrous thought, which brings me to my second point. The only reason to do it is to bring back a bull in the bond market (at least on the long side) in the hopes that it may prolong the bull market in stocks ?????
