In 1929 people didn't have access to instaneous information, truly easy stock transactions, and $10 or less commissions. Human nature remains the same, but the present scenario means cycles are greatly compressed.

We are living in an age akind to the era after Guttenberg invented the printing press.

Rarebird, I also expect this mania to go on until it collapses but don't know when. do you have any guesses for a time frame or events which will mark the end. My guess is a weak dollar but for now record trade deficits don't seem to matter. The insider selling figures ( Trimtabs) are encouraging for the bears. mike

Why do you assume that I am a prisoner -- just because I won't buy INTC at 150 or MU at 130? I can still live a healthy and happy life without buying a bunch of overpriced technology stocks ...
