In other countries a politician (that too a retired president with pension and other free fees worth a few millions of dollar) taking this kind of money for a speech
is called "bribe". But here we call "fee" or "honorarium".
What a system? I love it.
That's why one should strive to become the president of USA at any cost.

On the lighter side:

Will LU be better off if it is listed in Nasdaq where beauty matters? (a new ticker LCNT?)

AT&T Submarine was sold to Tyco, where it became TyCom. T had a non-compete, which I believe may have passed to LU. It may well be that this non-compete has now expired.
