All this talk of margin is scaring the bejeebers out of me! Is there a dark side to my beloved LTB&H Gorilla & King thread that I am only now realizing, just two short months after finding this island of sanity in an insane world?

I guess I'm going to have to go study some more of those investment gurus. I bought that damn LEAPS books, and nearly fainted when I cracked the cover.

That's really scary! I presume you're referring to investment banks, not commercial banks. All we need is one or two broker failures...like a hole in our heads...but that's not outside the realm of possibility here.
