India SBI mobilizes 3 tons of gold, finalizing assaying venture
Mumbai--Mar 24--The State Bank of India (SBI) has mobilized 3 tons of gold
deposits since the scheme was launched in November, its deputy managing director
and group executive (international) Janki Ballabh told Bridge News Friday. He
also said the joint venture of SBI and 3 other banks with Credit Suisse
Financial Products of London for a gold assaying subsidiary is being finalized.

China January-February gold output down 6.4% on year to 20 tonnes
Shanghai--Mar 24--China's gold output fell 6.4% on year in January-February
to 20.04 tonnes, a local Chinese-language web site on Friday quoted official
sources as saying. The report said the fall in output was due to some gold mines
closing for maintenance over the Lunar New Year holiday period in early

Comments? We all know about how extensive/expensive Clinton's road trips have been during his administration.
And we see his wife using military assets to campaign for the Senate in NY.

10 CH-53s strikes me as a bit extravagant... but at least they are guaranteed to receive the necessary allocation of fuel so the pilots can get some decent flight hours.

So I guess the military will have to take what they can get... <sigh>
