TRKR gets no money -- all it gets is a face saving improved possibility of making sales. But it's been hyping it's system for years with no success. The market knows this announcement is hollow -- so far TRKR is up barely a penny today!

That the Florida deal has been worth no money has been obvious for awhile. The whole delay was about approx $120,000! If the deal was worth more than that, or even that, TRKR would have found a way to come up with the money months ago.

As to SONY, sure -- good news could come in today, and the stock would zoom. But that good news originally was supposed to come out in FEBRUARY.

When do you give up?

Fwiw - I gave up today, just after my last post. I don't mind questioning something I'm *in" (if I have legitimate questions) but now that I'm out....

In July 1999, TRKR said that it's relationship with the police chiefs that WILL result in 1000 installations of TRKR's system -- in other words, money.

Now, all that's happened is that the Police Chiefs Foundation have granted to Tracker a license to use the Foundation's name! That means TRKR is paying a royalty TO THE POLICE CHIEFS -- presumably if it makes sales with their help, or using their logo. It also says the Chiefs will cooperate with TRKR to "develop a toolkit" -- so at least some (or all?) of what's being sold is not entirely developed yet!!!!!

It's not that the press release is bad news -- it's just very weak good news. And a lot weaker than the July 1999 press release promised. TRKR has issued much better press releases (as my other recent posts have quoted) and made no money. Maybe this time will be different. G'luck...
