Thanks to all for the Ignition details. Here is what I got from a 'shy guy' via PM. Thanks to him! We have Ignition sorted out now. <Ignition is an incubator for wireless data/Internet startups/ideas. It is managed by ex-MSFT and ex-McCaw executives. It is similar to the CMGIs and ICGEs of the wired Internet. QC has a stake in it. I don't believe MSFT has a stake (it is certainly not a JV!). The idea is that incubating some seed stage ideas through Ignition is a less risky way of placing numerous bets than QC investing directly in these startup companies. The whole damn house will take off! Nanohumans could travel really cheaply - imagine how many could fit into a 747! They'd be able to fly in mini-747s, with beds in them, and land at airports only 200 metres long. Houses would be really cheap too. Land costs, cars, sewerage and heating would all be really cheap. While size doesn't matter, marriage would probably be better between equals, which is sizist and racist since these little guys would definitely be considered a different race, or is 'race' only a function of melanin-producing ability? Also, they'd not be so good at standard golf so would have to have different games to play.
