Alan... I don't think our opinions are too far off as you're right about CMGI being in a trading range during this phase. That's one great thing about TA, opinions will differ when looking at the same chart. Reading your profile though, you have far more experience than I do - I've only been seriously charting for just about a year.

Good Luck,

Hadrian

What's one of the (former) beacons doing now?

I thought the absence of Zen for a couple of weeks odd. Maybe he's concluded as much (trading range) then, as usual ahead of the rest of us. Check it out, what he's up to!

SLVN: He says 1/3 of his port. in it. And he's happy with only a 6x for the rest of the year? I do hope he's still got some placemats at CMGI. Maybe he'll pay us a courtesy visit one of these days.

Now the SLVN CEO said a while ago:
Douglas Becker, Co-CEO of Sylvan Learning Systems (Nasdaq: SLVN), declares, "I think that our company is more complicated than a lot of other firms, and as a result, it takes a special kind of investor who really has the time and the willingness to understand our company. And when they do, I think they realize that there probably isn't a company with a brighter future in the education industry, and there probably isn't an industry with a brighter future than education."

Well, now he's got Zen. But Zen hasn't said a whole lot yet.

I wish we had Morgan (Sir Francis Drake), from NITE, take some interest in CMGI. Even with his voluminous prose. Even if only to learn to think inside and outside the box. And he appears to know the meaning of flexibility... That's quite a luxury, especially nowadays. Now let me throw a challenge to Morgan, if he deviates ever from the broker world: CMGI is a complex Co., with lot's of ramifications. Are you up to it Morgannnnnnnnnnnnn?
