A very interesting idea. It partly explains how this bubble can grow to its unprecedented size, and sounds more reasonable then competing ideas. I can see it getting a paragraph or two in the Millennium Crash post mortem books.

Although J6P may have increased his Prozac dosage, I'm guessing that WS hot shots are using more potent perception altering drugs.
