LMLP soaring. Many triggers from March 21, 2000 Watch List so I posted the entire list..I knew when I closed LMLP that it was in the midst of an uptrend. Got 10 out of 16 possible points. I've been waiting for 3 days for GSNX I was going to give up today. HAKI was and still is a beauty. All I watched in my entire database were last 44 stocks and I got more breakouts that I could handle. You have to track stocks that have not broken out, they will ALWAYS break out within 3 days. Not to do so and to look for new ones will be confusing because you won't have the 'blueprint' of the expected trend (i.e. what is my target, where are the breakout pivot points for this stock where has it gone before etc) Also give yourself the opportunity for swing trades. I've looked at some 'popular' SI sites for the first time last night in weeks and all I see are scalping in and out and they don't hold good stocks long enough. ELNT was sold the first day of a 5 day uptrend, HAKI was sold and most of the ones were one day wonders. Unless you can buy 5,000 shares and get out, its not worth it for 1/3 the profit. I should have stayed in SCII but for that amount of 'scalp', I was unsure so I got in on 3 separate occasions in the last 4 trading sessions. The others were holds (1-4 days) I come to the conclusion that the reason for this is that traders are not informed about the stocks they buy and don't know enough about the technical and fundamental analysis to appreciate the good, longer term potential. I do it also with newer stocks.. I did it when I sold LMLP and again with SCII, but I correct it for the next time. One of the worst mistakes I've seen daytraders make is looking every day at "most up" and "most active" lists, rushing through news articles but not really knowing when or to what to commit to. How can you when you have to decide within 1 or 2 minutes to get into a stock. To me its like going out on blind dates constantly. Once in while, I'd go out on a blind date when I was younger but they NEVER were as successful as the 'guy' you eyed for days waiting for the right opportunity. Stocks were looking oversold.. <<GLIA>> might make its way back and there was some sign that <<ELNT>> might continue its uptrend. A long shot but one worth watching is <<SEBL>>... One earnings play I like is <<MU>>, otherwise I did not see much attractive. <<PERY>>> with very volume moved up nicely. If volume doesn't move higher, just forget it. Starts with three white soldiers (3 days of higher highs) then goes into 4 days of correction, following again with 3 white soldiers (3 days of highers highs) then yet another 4 day correction. Monday's chart ended near the high of day in what looks like a reversal and possible continuation of yet another short term uptrend 3> PTIX - PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGIES INC .DCS Price= 31.5 VL/30= 139.4 %Rnge= 89.0 Sto9V= 20.6 W14dV= 61.7 %Hi4 = 87.5 1-Dy = 109.5 50MA = 141.2 21MA = 117.0 Very nice bullish engulfing candlestick pattern after 3 days of corrections, oversold stochastic 4> VRLK - VERILINK CORP .TES Price= 19.8 VL/30= 206.7 %Rnge= 95.0 Sto9V= 77.1 W14dV= 75.7 %Hi4 = 100.0 1-Dy = 116.1 50MA = 192.5 21MA = 141.8 Exploding volume in this nice stock, which did reach a 52 week high but he trend still looks strong. If VRLK does correction look for no more than 1-3 days of corrective move and continuation of uptrend. VRLK has new territory to conquer. 5> STTS - ST ASSEMBLY TEST SVCS LTD .ESE Price= 52.5 VL/30= 27.1 %Rnge= 57.0 Sto9V= 18.9 W14dV= N/A %Hi4 = 87.4 1-Dy = 105.5 50MA = N/A 21MA = 108.5 Strong but short correction only about 1 week after STTS reached a new 52 week high. Bullish closing last 2 days above both the 10 and 20 day moving average. Here again volume is low 6> LMLP - LML PMT SYS INC Price= 48.6 VL/30= 113.7 %Rnge= 54.0 Sto9V= 93.5 W14dV= 85.9 %Hi4 = 100.0 1-Dy = 108.0 50MA = 240.3 21MA = 154.4 Strong stock, has seen no corretive moves but a steady uptrend since end of january.. Could be a potential short, but even so, LMLP should be watched for a possible 7 point or more correction than continuation of uptrend 7> NOVN - NOVEN PHARMACEUTICALS INC .DRE Price= 13.0 VL/30= 122.7 %Rnge= 55.0 Sto9V= 30.7 W14dV= 41.2 %Hi4 = 72.2 1-Dy = 105.0 50MA = 75.4 21MA = 89.4 Looks like Friday's spinning top led to today's stronger close 8> DATM - DATUM INC .EDE Price= 26.5 VL/30= 87.9 %Rnge= 38.0 Sto9V= 44.5 W14dV= 65.0 %Hi4 = 90.4 1-Dy = 106.0 50MA = 149.8 21MA = 119.2 This has been in a solid uptrend since we posted it a few weeks ago. 9> GSNX - GASONICS INTL CORP .EEE Price= 41.1 VL/30= 165.3 %Rnge= 44.0 Sto9V= 26.4 W14dV= 57.9 %Hi4 = 88.4 1-Dy = 111.9 50MA = 123.9 21MA = 107.4 10> AMKR - AMKOR TECHNOLOGY INC .ESE Price= 52.6 VL/30= 137.5 %Rnge= 42.0 Sto9V= 29.8 W14dV= 56.0 %Hi4 = 92.3 1-Dy = 105.2 50MA = 121.5 21MA = 104.2 Can go either way after today's DOJI, hopefully it will move up as the stochastics are oversold. 20 day moving average breakout on high volume. 11> HH - HOOPER HOLMES INC .HHC Price= 34.3 VL/30= 48.6 %Rnge= 0.0 Sto9V= 78.9 W14dV= 67.6 %Hi4 = 93.8 1-Dy = 93.8 50MA = 133.0 21MA = 110.2 splits _______________
