well, then let me restate; I don't understand the difference between having 2 cash accounts and 1 margin account as to what I have 1/2? from what I've read it's acceptable to have 2 cash,1margin, 1 IRA accounts....

...but, there's a lot of things I don't understand, it's their game, we play by their rules, or not at all I guess. If it hurts their goals I'm sure they will change the rules. I think someone mentioned something about SEC rules pertaining to multiple margin accounts at one broker ...that I don't know...but if I'm holding a marginable stock I know it only benefits me in that account. So I see no difference there....but I admit that is just ignorance on my part.
