Grumble, grumble. I was notified this afternoon that my Dell computer order for two desktops was delayed from expected shipment today until 10 April. The reason given:

"Although we had anticipated being able to ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay and we will not be able to ship your order until Monday, April 10, 2000."

Now just what is this "unexpected delay"? Is there another shortage of Rambus memory? My computer is to be configured with it. That's the only thing I can come up with. I was really looking forward to the new products.

Probably nothing for shareholders to worry about. But you never know.
