"I was really hoping to sit around in a velvet smoking jacket and gaze about my vast collection"

I've had fantasies like that.We just moved into a new house so I thought things might be a little different. Wrong. Yesterday, the market being up created a milestone in our portfolio.
Our celebration was a couple of bottles of February 00 Andre which we drank out in the garage. Tekboy would have been so disappointed.

Buck, I can wade into and through some of the most convoluted spy thrillers ever written and keep track of all the characters and do so from volume to volume.

I can recall almost instantly in which of my hundreds of furniture books just which famous American chair is pictured and come within three of the correct page.

I have nearly a 5-foot shelf of business books, some of which are worthy of keeping, and others of which are worthy of reference, and still others of which are worthy of rereading.

I have a relatively large collection of jazz platters, and can not only recall on which is a favorite routine, but can hum along, though not necessarily in the correct key. (I'm thinking of asking Bruce for lessons.)

But the one topic that makes my eyes glaze is options...and Roth, bless 'im, was of absolutely no help. Maybe when I'm older and don't need so much excitement to keep me entertained...
