About Auto Administrator -- Today's Acquisition by USTI:

Auto Administrator Int'l Inc was founded in 1982 as an aggressive company that used technology to enhance its vertical market presence. Today, AutoAdmin is still that aggressive company, constantly evolving both its business practices and its products to meet its client?s needs.

AutoAdmin was one of the first PC based tax billing systems in Canada, using what was at the time leading edge technologies such as Ashton Tate's Dbase.

In the late 1980s AutoAdmin again adopted new technology, rewriting its entire application using FoxBASE and had become the largest supplier of municipal information systems, in Canada.

In 1995 using Solomon Software's VB Tools AutoAdmin became the first company in its market to fully integrate its vertical market applications with an "off-the-shelf" Windows accounting system. This gave middle market, local governments and utilities their first exposure to enterprise solutions.

Today we have 14% of the overall Canadian market and as much as 60% of some provincial markets.

Since 1995, AutoAdmin has delivered nearly 100 installations of our new Windows product. AutoAdmin has the solutions for the local government and utility market and the process to deliver those products cost effectively. [oh really?]

In 1999, AutoAdmin began work on Genesis, an amazing new architecture that is the culmination of over 18 years experience in the recurring billing market. Genesis has been designed to fully exploit the Company?s strategy of collaborating with leading financial application suppliers. Genesis is being written using the newest technologies available from Microsoft such as: Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic 7.0, COM+ (Component Object Model plus Component Services) and Multi-tiered Client/Server.

The Genesis architecture is flexible, efficient and adaptable. By applying the latest technologies now the life of the product is vastly extended.

As we move on into the 21st century AutoAdmin will be ready to meet the ever-changing challenges of municipal and utility administration through innovation and imagination.

USTI picked up Auto Administrator in a bankruptcy auction.
