#9.. This was a real winner. Earnings were great. I was only in it twice but the first time I missed most of the uptrend. I wouldn't worry but set a stop. Its now above average volume and at 86% of day high its looking nice. The bad thing about stocks like NSIL, this one and newer strong stocks like NTCS is they don't have recognition and coverage they deserve so sometimes they have disparate and uneven chart patterns which shows the lack of confidence in the positions. Eventually all the earnings stocks move up.. If I held every stock I bought in January (not including the biotechs) from the earnings plays list and not traded one day in February or March, I'd still be up in triple digits. All I have are 6 american stocks and 7 Israeli stocks and a few mutual funds and they are up in triple digits. Now the trading portfolio did well but it was not imperative to trade every day to make good money. What is imperative is to "HOLD ONTO" good postitions yet at the same time 'overextended' positions in volatile and 'non-earning' stocks should be checked constantly. That's why I'm not gung ho bullish on the entire biotech sector but only a few stocks at a time. In the long run the stock that has regular normal accelerating earnings from quarter to quarter are more lucrative than the constantly changing, always precarious situation of biotechs that may or may not come through with the 'promised drug' or breakthrough they speak of. Some will and some won't so why hold 'iffy' stocks when you have an 'earnings play' that has already proven itself. Its the excitement I guess in the 'new relationship'.. The safe stocks get boring after a while. I've either doubled or tripled my money on NT, WCG and BCE, FLEX, CAMP, LTXX and we had a whopper on EMLX, OCLI and BOBJ so now they are yawners? not quite. I'd prefer investing in CAMP, WCG to putting a large position in CEGE and just leaving it there. And CEGE was a triple bagger. But I don't think we know it will be a triple bagger again, although I suspect it will be. I rarely check on TEVA and added more in the dip.. I check NT maybe once a day.. but when I had CEGE, MOGN, GLGC I woke up with them on my mind and went to bed with them on my mind. That should tell you something.
