Jim, I agree they should give some warning. Now, to your statement: <as a stockholder you shouldn't be concerned with "fairness" in the IPO world.. you should be concerned with ACCOUNT growth... that's what walstreet wants to see from etrade..> I think we all know that multiple accounts are being opened just for IPO's. I don't believe this can be of any benefit to etrade, especially giving away $200+ (ebay bonus) for opening these accounts. I don't blame those of you that opened multiple accounts, that was the way to play the game. I still am VERY pleased to see etrade close these accounts, although notice should be given.
