This discussion of being pregnant made me think of something. Do you think in say...50 years, if cells can be put together and safely grown outside the womb, women would select that path vs being pregnant?

My instinct tells me most wouldn't. Even if it was safe and inexpensive. Especially with the first child. It seems to me, most women have an inner desire to go through the experience of being pregnant.

There seems to be a spiritual connectedness toward ones child having it grow inside you for 9 months. Feeling the baby move, noticing the hiccups, watching how you both are changing in a symbiotic way.
