Your welcome Ted. I remember hearing something about 60% yields before, from a couple of creditable sources.

From what I can tell, currently Athlons are yielding at above 70% in Fab 25. AMD said repeatedly that Dresden yields are better than Fab25.

The real yield number will not be known until AMD runs some production volumes. Nevertheless, Thunderbird die is larger than current Athlon die, and 60% sounds about right in the initial stages (it may creep up into 70s over time).
