James,

SLE got hit with another "Ballpark Frank" recall. I don't think it's a huge problem financially, but the brand has got to be losing value. The thing I'm starting to worry about is potential lawsuits related to the deaths and sicknesses from the prior incident. Do you have any insights?

Nice going on US Can LBO, Jim (3/24/00). Now Am. National Can (CAN) is being taken out @18. We talked about CAN before at 10 range. Sorry I did not buy. Do you follow the industry now or have any favorites in it? Crown Cork (CCK) looks pretty cheap.

Nice to see big investors step in to acquire these Very "old economy" businesses and help stockholders to realize gains on their holdings.
