FWIW I had a sell signal on WMT two days ago and scalped some puts for a quick in and out. I ditched this morning and am back flat. I posted the trade on the "new board" off our site. (No one goes there though, as the Yahoo board seems more popular)

i see retail stocks as a defensive sector. When the techs pullback, retails will be the sector to play. Same with drug (not the high biotechs) or banking stocks.

So, in order to diversify the portfolio (as you did with your PVN), i always look at the leaders of each sector.
