Justin: As you say, mtnlady has answered on the NT thread.

As an overall comment, the "future" may be closer than we foresee as of now.

Time compression seems to be accelerating.

And Frank is correct that those of us who try to follow this need to read (or at least scan, the Cisco thread - it takes a strong stomach due to bombthrowers there which is sad) and I would suggest that the NT thread is worth reading as well (less static to noise there).

And Justin, I would suggest you might wish to also look at (at least sample) the JSDU and SDLI threads which often have useful info on fiberoptics system supply where NT is leading and Cisco is buying companies right and left to strength its position.

BTW the reason I shifted away from "networking" [LAN and WAN] was that I thought it too narrow in the future for rapid data transmission and thought that the Telecom companies would be major players. That has turned out to be very clearly the case with NT moving up well past LU in this area in the past couple of years and particularly in the last year. And of course, in wireless data, the Q. (nuf said)

Again just as I see the picture.

And also I admit that since NT is also a major player in wireless as well as fiberoptics, NT for me is a twofer.

And again I remember your willingness to add NT to the watch and wait list many moons ago. That turned out a good idea.

Best.
