Norway cautious on sudden suspension of oil curbs [Guess why!]
OSLO, March 23 (Reuters) - New Norwegian Oil and Energy Minister Olav Akselsen said on Thursday that any sudden suspension of Norway's 200,000 barrels per day oil curbs would bring market instability.

``There is in my opinion a need for an increase in the global production,' he told a news conference with visiting U.S. Energy Secretary Bill Richardson.``However, we also have to take into consideration that the full suspension of today's production regulations will have a negative impact on the market and work against price stability.'

The truth is that most of Norway's oil curbs are illusory. Norway has been a master at pulling the wool over OPEC's eyes, see the following article:

archimedesiii,
You have to explain that handle sometime, VBG!

The NAO has returned to zero line and slightly negative. That is the good news. Bad news is we are getting to the time of year when it is no longer a reliable cold weather indicator. So a cold snap is still an option but not a certainty. However, with the variableness of La Nina, I tend to lean toward one more GOOD cold snap, but possibly I'm guessing or even worse married to my position ggg.

PS See my post(next and soon) to Tomas on securitytrader charts.

Best Regards,
