Sometimes one has to respond to the gut feeling on where a stock is going, myself, I began to feel the stock had topped out, Brad's projections, 300mm steppers, 5 to 10 units, market share, Applied Materials eating every ones lunch all added to the feeling it was time to exit. I sold on 3/8/00 for 42.5. The competition here is fierce, holding my AMAT and moving the MTSN funds to optical. JHMO of course. Thanks to all for the fine information you have shared in the past.

Regards,

CED

Jonh, I happen to be home yesterday and had the honor of watching<G> wall street's marvelous news machine and timing device-- Abby Joseph waits till window dressing to down grade her stock position--couldnt she have done it sooner or later -- well I guess the small investor is the last to know!!

The reason I mention this, is that in all of this retracement--Mattson, withs its larger float and whatever Brad said or didnt in New York; the stock was the only positive semi equip yesterday, and on large volume ; today with the larger ones turning ever so slitely , Mattson continues its rise; on large volume>
Dont you think something is going on beyond the usual bottom fishing, short covering--Brad didnt say very much in New York ; or atleast what he said was unclear; but it looks to me that something beyound the usual is going on; with all due respect to touting-- whats your take and dammit!
where is Ian when you really need him<G>
