brogan,

TRKN I'm familiar with. When it was a NASD stock and at 1 dollar they had about a bizillion shares in the float. Now I notice that the float is less than 5MM with a recent announcement of convertibles being changed over to common. I smell a reverse split in the not so distant past, thus the rise in stock price. Not to say that the company would do this to raise the price of the stock (trying to get back to NASD), but.............

The other one you mention I don't know about.

FARO also has a very small float thus the steep rise in price on less than 200k shares today, however, that is nearly 4 times the average.
