Here's the latest on how the sell signal is working for me.
But first, I'll review the performance of the markets in
general over the past week.

This is the first week in three weeks that I can say that
the US market went down a little. Last Friday it was
sitting at a record high. As of tonight, the US market is
6.5% higher than it was on 1/12/00, when I was first able
to act on the sell signal. Last Friday it was 9.9% higher.

The total international market, as measured by the average
performance of VWIGX and MNIGX, also went down from last
week. It is now up 6.9% since 1/12/00, slightly more than
the US market. This compares to last Friday's reading of
up 9.1%.

The European market, as measured by the average performance
of PRESX, VEURX, and FEURX, also went down this
week; the average is up 7.6% since 1/12/00, as compared to
12.2% last week. Again, the average is skewed by the
performance of FEURX.

Here's the data related to the above paragraphs.

% Diff. Since 1/12/00
Wilshire 5000 6.5%

VWIGX 8.7%
MINGX 5.1%
Ave. of VWIGX and MNIGX 6.9%

VEURX 2.2%
PRESX 1.2%
FEURX 19.5%
Ave. of VEURX/PRESX/FEURX 7.6%

I didn't buy or sell any equities this week. All in all,
I'm only 3.5% behind where I would have been if I had just
held everything. That's much better than last week and the
best in a couple of months.

Here are my sales since the signal, as well as the percent
increase (negative numbers indicate a decrease) in the
prices since I sold.

Security Sell Date %Diff. Since Sale

PBTCX 01/12/00 30.4% (Ouch!)
SRFCX 01/12/00 22.1% (Ouch)
MNMCX 01/12/00 17.9%
500 Index 01/12/00 4.4%
VWIGX 01/12/00 8.7%
CYMI 01/12/00 9.0%
CYMI 01/31/00 -11.7%
MOT 02/04/00 -5.8%
MOT 02/11/00 -9.2%
PRSCX 02/29/00 -1.5%
UTEK 02/29/00 -13.6%
Average 4.6%
Less Money Market Interest 1.1%
Total Opportunity Cost 3.5%

Last Week's Value 12.3%

All in all, the world markets went down about 3 to 5% this
week. Both the international markets and the US markets
are in the range of 6% to 7% higher than on 1/12/2000, when
I was first able to act on the sell signal.

Best wishes,

I2
