Yes, and that is exactly my view on the stocks I buy simply to write CC's on. My strategy is twofold however. I have a core position of long term holdings, I have held for awhile and will continue to hold. My desire here is to use options as a hedge/protection method, while not losing my shares. QCOM is one I do not want to lose....no reason to pay uncle sam so much CG tax, on a stock I would like to hold for the forseeable future.

But yes, you are correct on the other front.....stocks I am using as a vehicle, I will let get called and continue to buy stocks giving a good premium and write the cc's.
