Angler:

The biggest biotech companies are of the size (in terms of market cap) of mid-size tech companies. Most biotech companies have are like very small tech companies, with market cap under $1B.

I bought 1000 shares XOMA in January at under $6 a share, 1000 shares ISIP in January at $7.50. Not my major holdings.

I like brokers. Yesterday bought EGRP and NITE.

Mr Angler

IMO, Biotechs are not for everyone. I look for companies with little or no debt and slow cash burn rates. I like companies with product sales and cash flow that can be used for new product developement. You don't want to give away winning research because your out of cash.
