Dear Zoltan!: What a perfect article for me to remind people that in just one month it will be time for us, the shareholders, to back-end CSCO's sales via purchasing frenzies at CSCO's Marketplace. Thank you!

Just before it is time for us to get out our VISA cards, I shall make a posting that alerts people to the exciting new products as well as clearance items at the Marketplace. After doing some more research into the shipping situation, a word of caution might have to be offered so that people do not inadvertently front-end rather than back-end sales.

On February 24 I placed an order for 4 Amazing Mugs. Having taken two of mine with me when I went to visit friends for a few days in another state, my friends thought they were wonderful and wanted to order some [but I did it for them as a gift]. Assuming, from prior ordering experience (two day UPS option), that the mugs would go out the next day, I opted for regular shipping, assuming the mugs would arrive in one week. Well, I was not invoiced and the mugs were not shipped until March 14, 2 1/2 _weeks_ after the order. Most unimpressive given: a.) the mugs had been listed as being in stock; and b.) the end of February is _not_ part of any holiday buying period.

So... I want to make a few calls to find out if my order experience is typical when one opts for regular UPS shipping or not before encouraging my fellow shareholders to buy, buy, buy and back-end the quarter.

Back to the article you shared: I'd be interested in seeing what that 1987 promotional mug looked like. Assuming it was smaller than either the Amazing or fluted mugs currently offered, a 1987 Commemorative Edition mug would be a nice addition at the Marketplace, with the "Commemorative" stuff on the bottom.

Hummm... I wonder what CSCO does with discontinued or faulty routers. With a piece of heavy weight felt glued to the bottom, there just might be a market for these as paper weights.

Regards,

Lynn
