Larry MSFT
when I closed down last night it was trading North of 114
tell you what, I'll sell half of mine when you sell yours: deal?

PS
during the day CSCO passed MSFT as the largest market cap company in the world, barely

so the question is:
with both of these at caps of about $550 bil
or $100 for each person on earth
is it a reality for the stock to double again to be a $trillion company?

it was not all that long ago that GE was the first to hit the $300 bil mark (now $520 bil)

where are the limits?

I heard the other day that the roughly 320 true .com companies had a combined market cap of $1.2 trillion
less than a dozen had either earnings or positive cash flow

when we see buying come in to the market
say to juice the prices for quarter end fund window dressing
one might conclude that a $100 million here and there, which causes upward pressure and short squeezes is pocket change
or if a fund bails a $billion worth of selling can kill a stock or a sector
but also be small potatoes

tells me that this volitility will continue to be massive

and it is the funds/institutions that are doing this, not the nasty little day traders
