how could anyone, especially a poet, write "are cognizant of" instead of "know?" I am cognizant of lots of things I don't know. But that's because I don't know much. And I'm no poet.

Sherry, how could anyone, especially a poet, write "are cognizant of" instead of "know?" poetic unlicense? too long an evening with his 'bottle'? simply didn't give a fock? misquoted? one of the first poems I read was the Raven I still remember how it drew me in, slowly, engulfing received my first inkling of the power of words and a love of poetry still is a favorite is there anything I quote that you do like? grrrrrrrrrr Quote the Raven, "Nevermore."
