The prophet, I am not sure you are right, Stuart was calculating that only 1 MM short would be left after the squeeze, and he might have been right the new 3.3 MM are new shorts well above $200. Note an interesting count, there are close to 1 MM shared covered with leaps from $40 to $100, these might be partially those short Stuart suggested did not cover hedging their positions on shorting or shortly after. There are also close to (as I counted a week ago) a million new leaps above $200 that might be to a large extent associated with the new shorts. If half of the shorts are well hedged, the pressure is not that great and may not materialize until we really break back up. Nevertheless, the short position is large enough to providse cushions to any decline the uncertainty of the leagal situation bring about.

So all the price increase with RMBS is on short covering and no fundamentals? If that's the case the shorts will win out! LOL!
