To Dealer and the Porch, Saw your post Re: Gorillas and Kings. Before I used to hang with the Porch crowd I was a regular on G&K thread started by our semi-regular Uncle Frank. I have not posted there recently as my father's illness does not allow me the time to research and post there with any substance, so I have taken a leave of absence until I can contribute in a more meaningful manner. That being said, any of you that are looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST WAY TO PLAY THE CASINO IMHO there is no better way or better thread to do so. Voltaire's CC strategy is THE best way for those who want their stress reduced and nothing more. For all you others who still like to play the casino, I heartily recommend the G&K thread. When I took control of my portfolios, with the knowledge I learned from that thread my portfolio went up over 500% in less than 6 months. And it wasn't just due to Qualcomm; there were numerous companies that were multiple baggers. I encourage Porchers to lurk on that thread after catching up here and see if you feel as I do that it is an incredible resource that Uncle Frank has going there. You may even want to contribute there but *WARNING* You must first read the field manual which is the revised edition of The Gorilla Game by Geoffrey Moore. If you are going to post there they prefer you know the G&K criterion for discussion of any companies. IPO's and hot tip stocks and etc. are NOT G&K discussion material. This is in no way a substitute for the Porch, rather a compliment to each other. The stocks that are favorites there are excellent for portfolios for those who wish to play the casino as well as CC's. I now return you to your regularly scheduled posts, Joel PS.
