Interesting speculation-especially the early 2001 delivery and moving x86-64 down to lower end parts as well.

There has been some speculation that compaq is helping AMD with the new risc like FPU for sledgehammer.

Also speculation that mr.softee is helping out with x86-64 support. This was from the same guy who posted the 4/24 spitfire pricing.

Looks like AMD is not sitting on its laurels.

Nobody knows how fast Itanium really is, or how much it will cost.

I wouldn't be surprised if that included Intel.
