Yes, of course. Still, I hear stories about people that follow advice from wherever like a blind man follows a seeing eye dog. I know someone who bought shares of a company once because they heard it mentioned in a bank line. Also bought another company's shares because they were "putting up a new building across town." Then, there are the Bob Brinker-Bots, the most fervent of which followed his advice and sold 60% of their equities in January, including some such as amat, cohu, nvls, klac, and ter. Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch and ouch.
