Oh, don't get me *started on crabs! --- Here's how the crab thing works. There is one kind of crab, dungeoness. Everything else sucks (especially the pathetic tripe you have out there). Now, the best crab comes from northern California (here) and Oregon. The crab from SF Bay is okay (not great). The crab from Bodega Bay (50mi north) is better. It's on par with Oregon crab. Now the BEST dungees come from Humboldt and the best Humboldt crabs come into Trinadad (from off of Trinidad Head) which is south of Patricks Point State Park. You can look on a map to see where this is. --- Soft shelled crabs? Icky! Alaskan King Crabs? Give me a BREAK! --- A 2 lb Northern Humboldt Dungee is the best crab in the universe (and that includes the Crab Nebula). -JCJ
