The following excerpt come s from the February 4, 2000 Salomon Smith Barney Research Report. Excerpt is
from research piece on Wireless Services companies (Nextel, Sprint PCS, etc.)

Several Catalysts may help the stocks within 12-24 months
.... And wireless data should begin to emerge around the world this year; in Japan and Scandanavia, wireless
data has begun to represent more than 10% of revenues within a year of conception."

And this is with minimal service available at very slow speeds. Does anyone doubt what will happen when 1X
and HDR speeds and the more sophisticated and varied services they will enable become available? Can the
service providers ignore or even afford to move slowly to realize this future revenue source?
