Re <$1000 computer. Yes I remember those well- a post here years ago, back in 1998, no it was 1997, saying they seemed to have little effect on Dell sales. It was the same year CPQ said they were going Direct.(still trying 3 years later) Pretty quiet thread, vintage Dell- guess we are getting accustomed to it- kind of boring. Up 55% in last 40 days, a rather steady 1/2 point per day rise avg. Thats a bit high, as it used to be +0.30 points per day avg- excepting for 1999. 90 days till July equals another +45 points / No way...That would put us in split range too soon. Dell usually splits in March ( twice) or Sept, or July, or Dec, or April or any month with a letter in it. Pat will tell us when. Sig
