EXCELLENT grist for a thoughtful investor OR witless speculator, Alex. THANK YOU (x 100<g>)

Plus...
it was fun to see the reference to the gold-thread embedded suit I brought to this thread's attention on 3COM's "Palm Pilot" IPO day. Remember, the CEO of PP was interviewed, live by Tom Costello (CNBC) on the NASDAQ set that fateful morning?

This cutesy little fact will make it into the next edition of my book about discovery and recovery of above ground gold for $20 per oz cost. That is certainly a new development...gold threaded men's business suits. That will make it into the 6 pages of things to find and recover real gold from.

Just one question that puzzles me tho', Alex...
Just how long will that $1,400 men's gold threaded suit last before this suit gets the "shiney hiney" and it ends up in the thrift-store bins where my avid readership will find them?

Oh, and did you know that ONE ounce of gold is so ductile it can be drawn out into a single strand of unbroken thread over 32 miles long?

Geeze, the things one can learn by talking to an
"old 49er"

PS...ALSO,
declared that anything over $62 on PP's IPO was a sell. They can sure take several curtain calls on THAT prescient prognostication.

Alex: BRAVO on an excellent read! I've grown accustomed to enough Wall Street tripe that this article stood out like an electric giraffe. Keep up the good sleuthing, or as Ole 49er has said, somewhat out of context of course:

"Go ahead! Get some for yourself! There is GOLD, already above ground, for anyone who wants to look THERE!"
