Do you think that Microsoft should just lay down and die??

I sure hope they don't. Let the farce play out. Years of appeals will keep any findings and proposed "remedies" on indefinite hold, and what isn't eventually throw out or overturned (which I think will be most of it) will rapidly become a moot point and ancient history, which is almost the case today.

Tobacco fought successfully in the courts for many years, even though the majority of the public has been against them. MSFT has the resources and the public support on their side. Anyone who has followed this case knows that it's a politically motivated vendetta initiated by statist types who hate success achieved in a free market. What does or doesn't benefit consumers is of little or no importance to them. What benefits competitors is a different story, but that's just a marriage of convenience.

If the GOP takes the White House this fall, look for some DOJ minions and bureaucrats in the unemployment line. And the prospect of tort reform has the greedy class action lawyers in a major state of worry. LOL!

We've been screwed by our own Company in some ways. They
need to conceed this lose and go forward. I really don't
want my dollars tied-up with a bunch of management that
is more interested in arrogance than in shareholder value.
The writing is on the wall, settle this lawsuit, spend
your money on innovation, and go forward. We, as stockholders, have already suffered considerably by the
lack of MSFT management to seriously put forward a proposal
that settles this matter. The problem at this point is
simply BAD MANAGEMENT.

Retrospectively, management should of had a serious
proposal (which they have not provided to date) in the
hands of the arbitrator long before now. This latest
proposal appears to be typical MSFT PR.
