Has there been any discussion here about hedging a portfolio of G&K stocks for market risk with index options instead of options on each stock? If so, could someone point to the appropriate posting?

There being no G&K index I have been looking at the CSFB Technology Index (CTN), the Morgan Stanley High Technology 35 Index (MSH) or the Computer Technology Index (XCI) as possible proxies for my portfolio. Only the MSH appears to have a sufficient volume to make it interesting.

(edit-also looking at QQQ)

TIA

Jill,
Did you expect the gov't to accept MSFT's first offer? Come on, it's hardball time. Great theater, but too bad our tax $ are funding it. It ain't over till the fat lady sings.
