If the the Lawyers and the Reno don't like what Microsoft is offering why don't they get come up with their own darn ideas... That's the whole point - the DOJ has been caught like a two year old throwing a tantrum in public - after it quiets down, it itself can't remember what it was upset about. At the end, about all that is accomplished is that it proved beyond a doubt that it is two and can single handedly ruin even the most spectacular of celebrations. Congratulations, Mr. Klein - you have earned your place in history - as the two-year-old that upset and ruined the most spectacular economic expansion the world has ever seen, for no express purpose other than that you have the maturity of a two year old. These actions against Microsoft will make CSCO, ORCL, INTC, and SUNW all extra cautionary. And then, some aggressive competitor from a foreign nation, untethered from regulation and even having the backing of its government, will come and have these weakened competitors for lunch. I hope for just one good to come out of this - that a law will be passed where any justice action can be challenged by Congress. Justice keeps legislation and executive in check - but as Mr. Klein and Mr. Starr have proven, we need a method to keep justice in check as well.
