<< Since then, Intel's Market Cap "GAP" has INCREASED by almost $100 BILLION over AMD's - the GAP now is about $464.6 Billion - 8.2 Billion = $456 BILLION !!!! >>

The raw difference between the two has incresaed, but the multiple has decreased. If the raw difference were to decrease over a long period of time intel would be in huge trouble, since they have 30x as many shares outstanding, each point of growth intel has, has to be 30 points for amd to grow the same market cap.

Paul: Yes I made the claim that by December 31, 2000 the market cap gap between Intel and AMD would much narrower...Nothing concern the products that both companies have since introduced at retail would cause me to alter this claim...I also made the claim that AMD Y2000 eps would be 1.25 Intel's eps and offered to bet you $100, But, as usual, you wimped out!
