That was an excellent summary that Edwarda found and reassuring that there is an end in sight. Both boys had colic, and it's interesting that we, like you, through trial and error, ended up doing all those same things-- we spent days in the car just driving around, and Dan always carried them in that thing on his back. ( I forget the name!)
I have a friend whose sister had triplets a few months ago(agh- can you imagine??) and the middle one has a lot of these problems. They have put him on mylanta and zantac. I did what Edwarda did and went to the net and found that neither of these has been approved by the FDA for children, but are being dispensed somewhat cavalierly by pediatricians. I wonder about our ped. giving us paragoric for Ammo, even though he did sleep better.
They mentioned thickening the milk- either expressed or formula, which we also did at about 4 months. I never did make it to 6 months with only breast milk- which "they" recommended. Is Sarah starting solids yet?
