You may be right, but I do not know that. It has been a while since I have bumped into one of my more knowledgeable contacts on this issue.

But the last time I was at a Intel folk gathering several weeks back, before Athlon 850 intro, the general line of thought that AMD could really be not yielding significant volumes at 1G+.

What I am saying is that the confidence of some people that Intel can keep up was based on the reasoning that Athlon tops off around 1G. Wonder if PB is in the same camp.
