Discussion du jour: 3/25 The US Treasury Responds to the GATA Questions Richard, Easy for me to take USA government misconduct in stride thru an understanding of it with counter measures in place, but I have to admit that the write up at the cafe represented by the analysis of those there angers me. Surprised me tho, as I knew it was to be this way, but actually seeing and observing and being a witness to the gullibility of the citizens of the USA to this extreme as represented by the US Treasury feeding diarrhea for public consumption, like it had the USDA Seal of Purity. For so long the USA government has had great success with, "you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time" that now the USA government has decided to replace above with "you can fool all of the people all of the time." To me every USA Flag feels shame. Too many high government officials have sold their soul to the devil, and of the others many have not but are thinking about it, and the remainder high government officials who are good and want to do good can not move or act unless they obtain the support of some other high government officials who have already sold their souls or waiting for the pick up as the Devil just has so many hours in his day and there has been an explosion of souls For Sale that is putting a tight squeeze on the available room space in Hell. Under consideration by the Devil is to wait and see if the Soul For Sale supply & demand reaches a point that the Devil can do one of those two birds with one stone maneuver. If aSoon the waiting line for the souls for sale reaches a level that prevents the peregrinate of them, then the Devil can decree earth as a Hell on Earth so that no relocation will be necessary. hell, sheol, hades a rose by any other abode Doug

Politics pump up importance of current oil 'crisis' Published Sunday, March 26, 2000 " Statistics provided by the industry and federal energy officials show that, in inflation-adjusted dollars, this month's most recent $1.57-a-gallon national average, an increase of 13 percent since February, is lower than it was during most of the 20th century. The inflation-adjusted price of gas was higher than $1.57 every year between 1919 and 1969. Since then, the price has been higher in 13 years, lower in 18 years. The highest pump price was recorded in 1981, when it reached $2.46 in inflation-adjusted dollars. The $1.57 average is roughly the same as it was in 1970, when the posted pump price was about 36 cents a gallon. But that doesn't necessarily lessen the sting, Kohut said. "The average person at the gas pump isn't thinking this is cheaper in real terms than it was in 1945," he said. "It's the perception of something like this that counts far more than the reality."
