Actually for $999.99, I heard you can just buy 10240 GB of SDRAM, and let's just forget about the monitor and the computer. That's ultra-reliability.

Hitachi Ltd. today charged Rambus Inc. with violating the Sherman Antitrust Act by engaging in what Hitachi claims is an exclusionary patent policy and a campaign to intimidate semiconductor makers and their OEM customers.

Hitachi filed its counteraction in a Wilmington, Del., federal court, asking that Rambus patents relating to semiconductor synchronous timing techniques be thrown out. The company said the patents cover prior inventions and further alleged that Rambus has usurped technical details it picked up while participating in open industry standards meetings held by JEDEC

Carl, If RDRAM would be dropped from any future PC plans, and only small appliances and game consoles are left in the RMBS business, what do you think the impact on RMBS stock would be? Any ideas?

Hi Bilow,

Interested in your opinion on NWHarddrives and their reliability & honesty (had a bad experience with a builder here in Port Orchard). I looked at their site - and as long as their perif's are cost competitive you can't beat the $29 assemble fee (now for the tax & ferry fee ;-)

On RMBS - check out TomsShareware reply to MSDW trying to poo-poo him. Message 13335567

More DOOTM puts ??
