I love buying at bottoms. It is with persistent resolve that I buy with confidence and hold.On the contrary I have never been able to hold a short position for long.Guess my cables aren't bi- directional.Having said that, there is little doubt in my mind that we are closer to a top than we are at a mid range correction.

The small stocks are showing up in the Russell 2000 - there need little more be said. The great bounty has been made for the positional traders. That is not to say that great scalping cannot yield substantial rewards. It's just not an area of my experience and I prefer to have small positions verses large positions. It's just too darn hard to get out when the market turns on you. That makes me salivate, when thinking about being short the day vix jumps up in the 40-45 or even 50 range.

Time is getting to where I must watch closely I think.JMHO
