Paul

Intel's 64 bit Merced has come out about 2 YEARS AHEAD of AMD's 64 bit SludgeHumper.

And when exactly was work started on this extraordinary chip.....was it In Our Year of the Lord 1898 or 1899? Its been so long its had at least 2 or 3 name changes!

ANd it was functional on first silicon.

Let's check back in a year and see how much revenue this extraordinary chip generates for Intel!

ANd the 4-way CHip Set was functional as well.

And 4 or 5 64 bit Operating Systems BOOTED within a month - from Microsoft, Sun, IBM/SCO, Red Hat, etc."

You seem to be especially sensitive about MerDUD today. Is something bothering you?

"Kinda makes you wanna cringe, eh Cringe ?"

If it makes you happy to think that way.
